The CLAIRE Office Prague was initially founded in 
February 2019, as one of the first CLAIRE Offices, and is hosted by the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics at the Czech Technical University in Prague (CIIRC CTU).
CIIRC CTU aims to conduct top foundational and applied research in the field of AI. To achieve this goal we are building an efficient AI ecosystem at CIIRC CTU, and we understand the importance of involvement in both European and global structures shaping development within the AI discipline worldwide.
The creation of CLAIRE Office Prague was initiated by distinguished researcher and head of Department of Artificial Intelligece at CIIRC CTU Dr. Josef Urban, who is a member of the CLAIRE Extended Core Team.
The main activities of the office include acting as the CLAIRE contact point for Central and Eastern European countries, as well as for the Czech Republic; intensive involvement in project management and European grants with CLAIRE involvement; and participation in CLAIRE’s strategic development.
The CLAIRE Office Prague is currently represented in the CLAIRE Extended Core Team, the Innovation Task Force and the CLAIRE Communications and Outreach Task Force.

Inspired by Turing Award winner Donald E. Knuth’s All Questions Answered lecture (https://sites.cs.ucsb.edu/~ravenben/b…) , CLAIRE All Questions Answered Events (AQuAs) are relaxed, 1 hour, online events that bring together a small group of panellists to discuss current hot topics in AI and beyond and answer questions from the community. These events are usually held via Zoom Webinar for CLAIRE members and members of co-hosting organisations, and live streamed to the CLAIRE YouTube channel, allowing the community at large to get involved and be a part of the discussion.

The Czech-French AI Workshop was jointly organised by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the French Embassy in Prague, the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics CTU in Prague, and Inria, with the support of other partners and synergic networks such as CLAIRE | Prague.
The aim was to bring together leading experts from various AI fields, entrepreneurs and decision-makers. The event was a platform for connecting the key stakeholders active in the development and application of digital technologies and AI. The workshop included a high-level session with key stakeholders and a session on impact and industry.
2-4 June 2022 | CIIRC CTU
The first transatlantic workshop on AI in manufacturing organised with the support of the National Science Foundation (NSF), an independent federal agency created by US Congress, the RICAIP ecosystem – namely CIIRC CTU and the National Centre for Industry 4.0 (NCI4.0) and supported by CLAIRE | Prague will take place on 2-4 June 2022 on the premises of CIIRC CTU.
